CAQH ProView Re-Attestation
CAQH ProView is the shared profile that many health plans and facilities use for credentialing, and the profile must be re-attested regularly to stay usable.
The rhythm
CAQH asks providers to re-attest that their profile is accurate about every 120 days. Confirm the current interval in your own CAQH account, because organizations can change their processes.
What to keep current
- License numbers and expiration dates.
- DEA and any state controlled substance registration.
- Board certification and malpractice insurance, including the current certificate.
- Work history, with explanations for gaps.
- Practice locations and the list of organizations authorized to view the profile.
A routine that works
Put the re-attestation date in your tracker with a reminder two weeks before. When any license or DEA renewal is completed, update CAQH the same day so the documents stay in step.
What MedLicense does and does not do
MedLicense keeps the dates and documents you need, but it does not log in to CAQH or submit anything for you. You remain responsible for your profile.
